Rooms

The remote position and changing Patagonian weather meant that it was impossible to rely on the arrival of fresh products on a regular basis. The families began to plant vegetable and fruit seeds in their orchards (and gardens) that they brought from the north of the country and from Europe. They cultivated carrots, lettuces, apple trees, cherry trees, rhubarbs, raspberries and strawberries, amongst others. 

The orchard transformed into the favorite spot for the family, where even the youngest of could help, the sewing of seeds in large, open spaces, being a great game for them and where various generations forged their love for the land.
